Originally from Boston, Courtney Cronin Dold is a comedy writer, television producer, development consultant and veteran stand-up comic. She holds a BFA of Fine Arts from Boston University and has performed all over the world, land and sea, and at all the major clubs in Los Angeles and Boston including the Laugh Factory where she hosted Fridays and Sundays from 1997 - 2001.


As a comedian she has been featured in The Boston Comedy Festival, The College Humor Comedy Tour, Jay Mohr and Friends, The Comedians of Howard Stern Key Club shows, Finalist in OC Funniest Female Contest, Pretty, Funny Women, The Detroit Comedy Festival, The KISS Kruise, Monsters of Rock Cruise, The College Humor Comedy Tour, Nashville’s RockNPod Expo, and others.

Some of her on camera credits include the E! countdown shows Forbes Celebrity 100 and Celebrity Weddings, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Showtime’s Gigolos, as well as the TBS hit show Separation Anxiety where on top of her writing and producing duties, she pranked the contestants setting the show in motion.
 
Working mainly as a comedy writer she has written for countless comedians, rock stars, and television personalities on over forty-five TV pilots, series, and dozens of live events. Including, The Real Screen Awards, Socially Offensive Behavior hosted by D.L. Hughley, Girls Behaving Badly, Revenge of The Boys with Ken Jeong, MTV’S Disaster Date, TBS’S Who Get’s the Last Laugh hosted by Donald Faison, MohrSports with Jay Mohr, The Chelsea Handler Show, The Rock and Roll Roast of Dee Snider, The Roast of Corey Taylor, Separation Anxiety hosted by comedians Adam Ray and Iliza Shlesinger, Sports Soup with Matt Iseman, and The Wayne Brady Show where she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy.


Courtney regularly works in development and as a punch-up writer for comedians on material for live events, television, development projects and social media.

She produces a live comedy show in Hollywood, Nashville, and on the Monsters of Rock Cruise with comedian Don Jamieson and host Izzy Presley called, Punchlines and Backlines where rock star musicians perform their first stand-up comedy set.

Most recently she was the writer for “1000 Ways to Dine”, a new comedy food and travel show for A&E starring Michael Yo. Coming this July!

Courtney lives in Redondo Beach with her husband Stefan, and their super spoiled advanced level trick and agility rescue dog, Rainey. Obviously they have no children.
